COVID-19 Coronavirus – What We Are Doing
Our office will continuously evaluate the COVID-19 situation as it develops during this unprecedented pandemic.
- Have you had recent exposure to a person who tested positive for COVID-19?
- Have you had any fever, cough or shortness of breath in the last three days?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, please contact our office at 863-666-3436 to reschedule.
We are continuing to see patients in the office. Patient screening is taking place prior to the office visit. Patients that have had recent exposure to a person who tested positive for COVID-19 or who have had any fever, cough or shortness of breath in the last three days, are being rescheduled.
The waiting room has been set up with reduced numbers of chairs, spread widely apart, to lessen in-office congestion. Patients are being contacted prior to their appointment to obtain their medical history over the phone, so as to reduce their time spent in the office. We have added a self check in function for patients to check in via smart phone to limit exposure in the office. Additionally, we now offer Telehealth to better serve our patients during the COVID-19 outbreak.
We are allowing patients plus one companion only in the office.
We are routinely and repeatedly disinfecting common areas throughout the day. All examination rooms and patient areas are disinfected after every patient encounter. All staff are wearing masks and are screened twice a day which includes temperature. They are diligent in hand washing after every patient contact and minimizing physical contact. They are all practicing “safe distancing” from patients, whenever practical. We are working diligently to provide a safe environment for everyone.
Easy Access To Your Health Care Provider
Telemedicine visits allow new or existing patients to consult, ask questions, and discuss their plan of care with our office. Patients can consult their provider entirely online from the comfort of home with a scheduled video call by using a computer webcam or mobile device. A patient may be required to come into the office should they need a physical exam or further diagnostic testing.
Here’s How It Works
- To schedule, call us at 863-666-3436 and ask for a virtual Telehealth appointment, and one will be scheduled for you.
- On that call, your provider will determine if you qualify and are willing and able to participate in a video visit.
- You’ll also decide which conferencing method to use, based on your equipment.
- We will set you up with a convenient time for a Qure4u video call.
Some Helpful Tips
- Select an area with a strong Internet connection, either with a direct connection or WiFi.
- Pick a private area that is well lit and free from distractions and interruptions.
- Before the video call, remove any bandages or dressings.
